Please welcome The Almost Patsy Cline Band!

“This dynamic 5 piece is captivating audiences everywhere they go!”

The Almost Patsy Cline Band is known for preserving country music’s past with stirring, heartfelt renditions and stories about the best of yesteryear like Patsy Cline, Bob Wills, Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Mel Tillis, Merle Haggard, Connie Smith and other superstars of the Opry. This talented five piece group could just as easily have been named for “almost” any country and western star of the ‘40’s, ‘50’s, 60’s, or ‘70’s because they cover hits from all of them.  Bandera’s Award Winning Official Goodwill Ambassadors have been filling theatres and dance floors throughout Texas since 2001.

Timeless Tunes, The Stories and the Songs is a collection of classic country music brought to life through a narration of fun, educational facts. This interactive show begins with the story of how four country songs came to have the same tune and moves through the birth of Western Swing, the Bakersfield Sound and reflects Patsy Cline's music as it mirrored her life. Featured tributes to veterans and longest married couples in attendance. Click on the link to the left for more.

The Texas Commission on the Arts has placed the Almost Patsy Cline Band on the 2008 - 2010 Touring Artists and Companies Roster. The Roster is part of the state grants system that provides funds for the support of the performing arts. www.arts.state.tx.us Look under Grants Information.
